Project Overview

The Deptford Project was a major refurbishment project in Deptford, South East London comprising of refurbishment works to a Grade II listed carriageway ramp, creation of a new public plaza, construction of three new timber frame townhouses and refurbishment of an existing multi-storey building into 8 apartments and 2 restaurants.

Scope of Works

  • Refurbishment of Grade II listed carriageway ramp including interface with Network Rail and the Railway Trust
  • Refurbishment of 16 railway arches into commercial units and the formation of two walkways into the adjacent new build flats
  • Extensive public realm works, including granite setts, hard and soft landscaping, lighting and CCTV installation
  • Construction of 3 new build timber frame town houses, each with four bedrooms and external terraced areas
  • Formation of a new courtyard areas in steelwork with walkways, timber cladding, glazed brickwork, lift shaft and new lift
  • Façade retention and refurbishment of listed building (St Pauls House) into 8 apartments
  • New internal steel frame with metal decking and concrete to form floors
  • Installation of new zinc clad roof pod
  • Full MEP installation, including fire and security systems
  • Complete interior fit out, including kitchens and bathrooms through to full decoration
